| Biography: |
Following Law School, Kermit accepted a two-year clerkship with the Honorable W.C. Stuart, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Iowa. From 1977 to 1981 he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa; and the following year he served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa. He is a longtime member of the Editorial Board for Defense Update, the quarterly publication of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, and he is a member of the legal forms committee of the Iowa State Bar Association. |
