Abigail Wallace

Abigail is a trial attorney who maintains a civil litigation and appellate practice in Iowa’s state and federal courts. Abigail’s practice focuses on defending clients in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, professional liability and malpractice defense, employment law, employment and housing discrimination, professional licensing, premises liability, personal injury, insurance defense, insurance subrogation, and business-related litigation. Abigail has tried several jury and bench trials and has successfully defended several appeals to the Iowa Court of Appeals and Iowa Supreme Court.

As part of her employment practice Abigail regularly assists clients in an advisory role with respect to employment policies and best practices, the drafting and editing of employment handbooks and non-compete agreements. Abigail also advises clients with respect to legal compliance, HR audits, training, internal investigations, and defending clients in administrative claims and proceedings.

Abigail is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Polk County Bar Association, the Nebraska Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Abigail has been actively involved in the Polk County Bar Association and has served as the co-chair for the Bench and Bar Golf Outing (2020–2024). Abigail is also the current President of Des Moines Young Artists' Theatre.
