Margaret L. Garbin

Margaret Garbin earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Doane University, graduating cum laude in 2021. She went on to attend Drake University Law School, where she graduated with High Honors in 2026. While in law school, Margaret served as an editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and represented clients as a student attorney in Drake’s General Civil Clinic. In recognition of her excellence and performance in the legal clinic as the student who best demonstrated the qualities of a good trial practitioner, she received the 2026 International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. Maggie joined Finley Law Firm as a law clerk while attending Drake and, after graduating and passing the July 2026 Iowa Bar Examination, joined the firm as an associate in its civil litigation division.
