Finley Law Firm is continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our communities and nation. We remain committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and are responding quickly to challenges as they arise. Finley Law Firm continues to follow current and evolving recommendations from state and federal agencies, including the CDC and Iowa Department of Public Health.
At this time, to ensure the health and safety of our colleagues, clients, and the public Finley Law Firm has resumed a restricted access policy for our offices and have restricted non-essential travel and in-person meetings. Those attorneys and staff working remotely continue to have access to all critical systems via a secured, remote connection consistent with our data privacy and security initiatives. Our attorneys remain available by phone, email, and video conference to the Court and clients. Direct dial numbers for our attorneys can be found on our Attorneys page and will allow you to contact the attorney directly. Please be confident that these plans allow us to continue operations and provide ongoing, high-quality service to our clients without interruption.
In addition, the Finley Law Firm continues to monitor Iowa’s court systems and related Supervisory Orders, which include:
-November 10, 2020 Order: All jury trials that have not commenced as of November 16, 2020 are continued to a date no earlier than February 1, 2021. All other jury trials between November 16, 2020 and February 1, 2021 are continued and will be rescheduled. The Finley Law Firm anticipates this order will impact civil jury trials beyond the February 1, 2021 date and will continue to monitor applicable court orders.
