Joe Moser and Stacie Codr recently filed an amicus curiae, or “friend-of-the-court,” brief with the Iowa Supreme Court on behalf of the Iowa Hospital Association (IHA), Iowa Medical Society (IMS), and American Medical Association (AMA). The brief does not seek to support either party in the case, but provides the Court with information on how recognizing or expanding a claim for negligent credentialing would impact hospitals, providers, and patients.
