All of us at Finley Law are deeply saddened by the death of our friend, Mark Cady.
Each day Justice Cady demonstrated exemplary professional conduct that Iowa’s lawyers and Judges would be right to model. He led by example, with a smile, and made it look easy.
Justice Cady was a zealous advocate for all Iowans in his passion for increased citizen access to judicial resources. That mission included preservation of the impartiality of our judiciary while establishing a suitable quality of life for those entering public service in the judicial branch. Simply, Justice Cady was fair to all his constituents-the highest accolade to bestow on members of our profession.
We are all fortunate to have known Mark Cady.
