Joe Moser was nominated for and received the R. Jack Paetz Friend of NAHRO Award. The R. Jack Paetz Friend of NAHRO Award is to be given to the person or organization that has furthered the goals of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) in an outstanding manner. The award was established in memory of Mr. Paetz, who served as the public housing administrator for the City of Muscatine, Iowa. He was an advocate of public housing for the elderly and low income families and an innovator in his field, encouraging programs in self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and education. Prior to his passing 1992, Mr. Paetz was an active participate in NAHRO membership.

Joe is both professional and personable and has a wealth of information when it relates to legal issues in the world of housing assistance. Several of our Iowa NAHRO Public Housing Agencies have worked with Joe on a professional level. He has a way of putting his clientele at ease during a not-so-fun process. For the past few years, Joe has been a very popular presenter. . . He always takes time to answer questions to a full house."
