Kevin J. Driscoll
Kevin is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow in the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers. Kevin has been listed in the Best Lawyers of America since 2008 and Chamber's USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business since 2006. He was named "Des Moines Construction Lawyer of the Year" in 2015 and 2017 by Best Lawyers of America.
Kevin maintains a trial practice in the area of professional negligence, in the defense of physicians, attorneys, architects and engineers, as well as construction and commercial related matters. Kevin served as Iowa counsel for JP Morgan in the Enron related securities lawsuits and as Iowa counsel in connection with the Recording Industry's copyright infringement lawsuits.
Wilson v. Ritel Copter and Bristol Aerospace: Five week jury trial involving personal injury and aviation product liability claims resulting in a $4,100,000 verdict for the firm's client.
Construction Services, Inc. v. Eco Tech: Two week jury trial involving enforcement of indemnity contract arising out of a workplace personal injury accident on a construction site resulting in a verdict for the firm's client.
Diamond Homes v. Construction Material Testing, Inc.: Defense verdict in favor of the firm's client involving construction related damages.
American Family Insurance Company v. Monsma Corporation and Bright Electric: Two week jury trial resulting in verdict for firm's client involving fire subrogation claim arising out of construction defect.
